Description

It is in excellent cosmetic condition with some slight handling marks. Its clock drive seems to be working and it has clean mirror, however corrector plate needs cleaning-externally & internally (dust/specks/haze spots/etc.,). It comes in an original storage trunk with fork, front/back caps, power cord, manuals/screws and S&S Optika micro-guide drive module. Trunk frame/exterior/hardware have some rough spots. You are bidding on a vintage Celestron 8 telescope. It is in excellent cosmetic condition with some slight handling marks. Its clock drive seems to be working and it has clean mirror, however
corrector plate needs cleaning-externally & internally
(dust/specks/haze spots/etc.,. Please see the 8th & 9th pics). It comes in an original trunk case with fork, front/back caps, power cord, manuals (operating manual, general catalog 10-77, Bright Star Atlas 2000.0 by Wil Tirion and Seasonal Star Charts-has damage on cover), some screws and S&S Optika micro-guide drive module unit. Trunk frame/exterior/hardware have some rough spots. Please note that front lens cap doesn't stay on the tube-it needs some felt to tighten it.
