Speedotron D1204 - 1200 Ws Electric Flash System with 2-2400 Ws Color Corrected Flash Heads, 1-400 Ws Color Corrected Modeling Flash, Stands, Umbrellas, Cables - Complete!
Being auctioned is Speedotron Brown Line Professional electronic studio flash set-up, including a D1204 - 1200 Ws Power Supply, two (2) M11Q/CC 2400 Ws color corrected flash heads,  and one (1) MW3R 400 Ws color corrected modeling flash head.  Also included are (3) flash stands, (2) Photek reversible umbrellas, cables, fittings, instruction manual,  and a Speedotron Omni storage case, which measures 36"x13"x15".  Total original cost at NYC prices exceeds ,600. + tax.  Everything looks and works like new.  The equipment was purchased by me some years ago, but was used only 1-2 times at home,  and is like new, and electrically and cosmetically perfect.  It has been kept in my air-conditioned, non-smoking home packed away in the Speedotron Omni storage case.  It has never been used commercially, and has never needed  repairs.  It has been tested before being placed at auction, and everything works perfectly.  Even with the shipping charge, this is a BARGAIN!
The power supply has 4 flash outlets with full, half and quarter power switch, symmetrical/asymmetrical power distribution, 4.1 second recycle at full power, 2 sec. at half-power, 1 sec. at quarter power.  It weighs only 14 pounds, and is compact and light enough to take anywhere. It is also powerful enough for shooting large group portraits or large format jobs. The M11Q/CC light units have special flash tubes  rated at 2400Ws, and are color corrected to 5500°K. They include a 150W quartz modeling lamp, and are fitted with 7-inch reflectors. Also included are two (2) additional 11.5-inch reflectors, which are  interchangeable with the 7-inch ones, and are designed for the M11 flash heads.  The MW3R modeling flash head comes with a 5.5-inch reflector.
The power distribution and levels of output in watt-seconds for each flash outlet are clearly charted in a diagram on the back of the power supply case. Additional features include a large test button with  intregrated ready light, an audio recycle signal that can be switched on or off, protection circuits that continuously beep and light a red warning light if the unit gets too hot, and a safety-type three-prong  grounded power cord, which can be replaced by a standard cord available everywhere.
Please see the photos for the fine condition of this equipment. All photos are of the actual equipment being auctioned, except for the first photo which is a catalog photo.  All together it is quite heavy  and expensive to ship.  The 11.5" reflectors will be shipped in a separate package, since they do not fit in the omni case with the other equipment.
This is an opportunity to obtain these excellent studio (or portable) flash units at a greatly reduced cost as compared to buying them new. Also, it is an opportunity for you to know exactly what you are   getting and the history of this little-used equipment, as opposed to obtaining it from a dealer who obtained it from sources unknown and is simply trying to make a profit, or from a busy photo studio where    it was in constant use. Such is not the case here.
Of course, this is electronic equipment, and I have no way of knowing what happens to this equipment after it leaves my possession, so this is a FINAL SALE with no return privilege.   Please check my feedback - I only place for auction items in perfect condition, and I have received numerous congratulatory comments about my packing.
